Summer Vacation

I hope you have a great summer.  Work on math facts and read alot.  Please let me know what you are doing this summer, a favorite book you read, trips you take even if its just to the park or the zoo, family or friends visiting, etc.  I will let you know what I am doing.  Right now, I am cleaning up our classroom to get it ready for the new second graders next year.  Snowflake went home with me for the summer.  She especially likes Barney, the cat.

    Yesterday I had my first dance class.I saw my friends,Isha and Nadika.I am going to lego camp on 7/11/11.

    I am going to summer camp in Hamilton Elementary. I really miss being in second grade with you. Next week, I will be going to Camp Invention at Wattles Elementary, my old school!

    I am going to the same camp as Sumedha (Camp Invention). The only difference is that I was put with the 4th Graders.

    Hi everybody. Noah, Adam and Elly (who you have seen at school) are down in Florida with me. We went to the pool early this afternoon and then the beach until it started to rain. We ate dinner and then the rain stopped. Everyone is going to Busch Garden's tomorrow. I hope you are enjoying the warm weather in Michigan. I will be coming home on Ju.y 9th (my birthday).

    Dear Mrs.Buczek, I am attending summer program at Boys and Girls Club, it is type of summer school with lot of activities to do like music, gym,art and tech lab. Yesterday was my first day of soccer league game and having fun. I am missing being in 2nd grade class with you and my classmates.

    July 3, 2011
    There are fireworks on the lake at my house in Michigan and also in Dunedin, Florida where I am on vacation. Is anyone going to see fireworks in Michigan? Where are you going? I heard it was 98 degrees in Michigan yesterday...that was hotter than it was in Florida! I have read four books so far this summer. How is your summer reading going? Don't forget the mark your reading minutes on your bookmark and bring it to school on the first full day for a surprise.

    Dear Mrs.Buczek and everyone,
    I am going camping on 7/15/11 with Srishti`s family.There are going to be 20 families.I started
    my gymnastic class on 6/29/11.I even joined Troy
    public library`s summer reading program.I even started a reading race with my dad and I am winning.I all ready read 5 books + 28 pages.
    I am even solving GRASP reading and Math activities and finished 4 lessons of them.
